Dr. Melissa Newman is Associate Professor, Educator of Management at the University of Cincinnati's Lindner College of Business, and she has over 20 years of nonprofit management experience. She holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Kentucky, MBA from Morehead State University, MA in Higher Education and PhD in Organizational Leadership from the University of Louisville. She is the author of a nonprofit management textbook, and serves on three nonprofit boards.
Melissa's services include consulting within all elements of nonprofit and for-profit leadership, including change management implementation, strategic planning, board development, team-building, and others. She also provides executive coaching. As a business management professor and practitioner, Melissa is uniquely equipped to provide recommendations that are based on academic theory but feasible and applicable to practice.
